Morgan Fairchild is an American actor from the United States. The actress was born Patsy McClenny in February, 1950. In the late 1980s, she became a household name through her performances on several television series. Her fame was for acting as a glamorous woman. Fairchild started her career with the character Jennifer Pace in Search for Tomorrow the CBS daytime soap from 1973 to 1977. She was Jenna Wade in 1978, the first time that an actress was able to do so. She was cast in 1980 as the role of Jennifer Wade on Flamingo Road (NBC), in which she was awarded an Golden Globe Award nomination for the Best Actress - Television Series Drama. In 1984, she co-starred in ABC's short-lived, primetime soap Paper Dolls as well as a role in Falcon Crest as attorney Jordan Roberts from 1985 to 1986. Fairchild is also a performer on stage, having appeared on TV shows like Murphy Brown, for which she was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Star in Comedy Series. Maggie Lawson's professional career started at age eight when she began to participated in theatre productions. She later moved in Los Angeles for her first television pilot at 15. in 1996 and 1997.
